Welcome to akunk,
the venture studio.

We find friction in real markets, understand the mechanism behind it and build companies that remove it. Every new venture starts with what every venture before it learned.

Waiting, hand-offs, rework — friction we measure before we build

Three Foundations

for a venture — each one measured before the next.

A · Friction

Measured Friction

Unmeasured friction is only an opinion. We count where work waits, repeats and breaks.

B · Mechanism

A Better Mechanism

Don’t push harder against friction. Redesign the mechanism that creates it.

C · Evidence

Evidence of Value

Demand signals, letters of intent and unit economics that hold.

Every gate ends in one of three: Proceed Pivot Kill

Method

Four phases, twenty-nine steps. A venture moves to the next phase only when its gate passes.

#1 Ideation

Observe, Measure, Choose

A venture charter, then theme scoring across the market. One theme gets the mandate. The Idea Forge generates concepts; an IP & compliance sweep and a leverage graph show where we hold an advantage.

GATE — One theme mandate and an advantage worth testing.

#2 Validation

Test the Demand

Demand signals and customer insight come first, then willingness to pay and a unit-economics model. A concierge test sells the solution by hand before the product exists.

GATE — Customers commit and the economics hold.

#3 Creation

Build the Mechanism

Team assembly, a focused tech stack and the product core. An alpha, then a beta, with an analytics pipeline that measures every result — the system handles the normal flow and sends exceptions to people.

GATE — The core workflow delivers measurable value.

#4 Growth

Scale and Carry Forward

Growth experiments, a retention loop and CAC balanced against LTV. Then operational scaling, fundraising and governance. What the venture learns returns to the studio.

RESULT — Repeatable growth, and parts the next venture can reuse.

How we work: observe, measure, decompose, locate friction, understand the mechanism, transform inputs, recombine parts, automate the cycle, detect failure, regulate flow, create leverage.

Why a studio

Leonardo did not design machines as monoliths. He studied screws, gears, pulleys and bearings one by one, then combined them into new machines. We build companies the same way: each venture is a new configuration of proven parts around one specific friction — and every company we build leaves parts for the next.

In the lab

Ventures moving through the 29 steps right now. Codenames only — fields and stages stay private until launch.

From parts to a mechanism

Many Parts.
One Mechanism.

Every venture starts as scattered observations: where work waits, repeats or breaks. We measure the friction, take the system apart and recombine proven parts into one mechanism.
